The reader discovers the everyday boring of two girls aged 12, whose first name both Margaret. One difference, however: one is in 1910, and another in 2010. One afternoon, each of them tries a dress mysteriously recovered from the bottom of an old trunk, then find themselves propelled into the era of the other!
The drawings are rather funny, as are many replicas and winks to the reader. It's a real fun to compare the two eras, although this is sometimes caricatured.
The original submission involved in this distraction, the page being cut in half the time from 1910 up and 2010 down. Good idea, but sometimes difficult to follow in practice, since we read the two adventures at the same time, without being provided parallel.
